Compact American Bass 2 HAWK 1244 12 3000W Car Subwoofers with Cooling Ring

The American Bass HAWK 1244 is a 12" 3000w Peak/1500w RMS Car Subwoofer equipped with a Cooling Ring. The package includes two of these subwoofers.

The HAWK 1244 features a heavy-duty die-cast basket with a metal red finish, a Kevlar fiber-added non-press paper cone with a textured finish, and a high-roll, high-density foam surround with red stitching. It has a 3" high-temperature, 4-layer copper wire voice coil on an aluminum bobbin, and 4 pieces of black poly-cotton spiders with a mirror image layout spaced by a spider ring.

The subwoofer is powered by triple-stacked 80oz strontium magnets (240oz total) and a 1-piece tech T-yoke for maximum excursion. The voice coil has a direct cooling design motor with a heat raptor, and a 10-gauge pure copper power cable for direct connection. The subwoofer also features a rubber gasket and rubber magnet boot, with a dual 4-ohm impedance and a 1500W RMS power handling capability, with a maximum power of 3000W.

The subwoofer's T/S parameters include an impedance of 2 ohms, an RMS power of 1500W, a voice coil size of 3.0 inches, a DC resistance of 1.6 ohms, a free-air resonance frequency (Fs) of 33.5 Hz, an effective piston area (Sd) of 51.1 sq. cm, a Bl factor of 14.18 Tm, a mechanical Q (Qms) of 5.116, an electrical Q (Qes) of 0.429, a total Q (Qts) of 0.396, an efficiency bandwidth product (EBP) of 85 Hz, and a sensitivity (SPLo) of 86.6 dB. The subwoofer also has a volume equivalent (Vas) of 26.7 liters, a compliance (Cms) of 78.2 μm/N, a moving mass (Mms) of 256.3 g, a diaphragm mass (Mmd) of 243.0 g, a maximum linear excursion (Xmax) of 15.5 ±mm, a maximum mechanical excursion (Xmech) of 44.5 ±mm, and a gap height (AGH) of 14.0 mm.
